My advice to all who read this letter:

If you are lost without Jesus as your Savior, I ask that you give your life to Jesus Christ so that you will not have to go through the Tribulation Period.  For those who find yourselves in the Tribulation Period, give your life to Jesus Christ and be faithful to Him unto the end of your life.  Then your soul will enter heaven and live eternally with Him.

You can accept Jesus Christ as your Savior by praying this simple prayer of repentance and devotion to Christ:

A Prayer of Salvation and Becoming a Christian:

Lord, Jesus, I believe You are the Son of God.  I am a sinner and repent of my sins.  I ask You to come into my heart and live with me.  Be the Lord of my life, which means I will serve you with all of my heart the rest of my life and will obey what You tell me to do.  Amen.

If you prayed this prayer in faith, believing Jesus saved you, you are saved and are a Christian.

Letters To The Martyrs

Letter #6 - Do Not Be Frightened By Those Who Oppose You

To The Christian Martyrs of the Tribulation:

Philippians 1:27-29:

27.  Whatever happens, conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the

gospel of Christ. Then, whether I come and see you or only hear about you

in my absence, I will know that you stand firm in one spirit, contending

as one man for the faith of the gospel

28.  without being frightened in any way by those who oppose you. This is

a sign to them that they will be destroyed, but that you will be

saved--and that by God.

29.  For it has been granted to you on behalf of Christ not only to

believe on him, but also to suffer for him,

Paul, in these verses, is clear that if you face your attackers without being frightened, you prove to them that they will be destroyed at the end of their lives and you will be saved to live with God at the end of your life.

Paul was very familiar with those who died in Christ.  He knew many martyrs who were faithful to Jesus Christ before they died and thus, he wrote words to encourage 1st century martyrs to stand strong in Christ until their death.

I encourage you to stand strong in the face of your enemies.  This is the sign God gives you as His beloved.

Satan will work through men and women to try to scare you and make you deny your Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  Do not be frightened by them.  God has given you a sign that He will help you not be frightened by those who oppose you, and you will in this way prove to them that it is your tormentors that will be doomed to destruction, not you.

Your mortal body and life will be taken, but your immortal soul and spirit will live forever with Jesus Christ in heaven for an eternity.  Those who kill your mortal body will die in their sins and will forever be tormented in the lake of fire.  This is your sign against them... your peace.  Your peace will show them that you will be resurrected to live forever in peace.  Your peace will show them that they will be doomed to live an eternity in torment.

Take courage in knowing that you are God’s child, and He loves you.  Although you must suffer for His name’s sake, that is one of the greatest privileges we as Christians can endure.  Suffering for Christ means that you have been found worthy of Jesus Christ.  He has looked down and seen that you will endure your test and trial faithfully.  Just hold on a little longer until your trial is over.  Then you will be in eternity with Jesus your Lord and Savior to live forever in a place where there is no more suffering or death.

Psalms 46:1-2:

1.  God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble.

2.  Therefore we will not fear...

Do not fear!  God is your refuge, your strength and is present with you to help you when you are in trouble.

Your death will be a witness to many people.  You will let the world know that you will die faithfully for Jesus Christ and He will receive you in heaven with great honor.  Be encouraged by these Scriptures this day!
