I want to discuss how the pope's claim that St. Peter's Keys and Apostleship being passed down to the first pope was a complete deception fabricated by the Catholic popes of the third century. There are many reasons why the first Catholic pope did not receive the keys of the kingdom or his apostleship from Saint Peter. Here are some of the reasons: Reason #1: The keys to the kingdom was salvation and power to loose and bind things on earth, not physical keys as the Catholic church displays. Peter never received physical keys, thus he could not give them to the popes. Reason #2: True apostleship can only come from being a witness of Jesus Christ’s life, death and resurrection, something none of the popes ever witnessed. It can’t be given to another person who did not witness Christ in the flesh. The popes don’t want you to know that secret. Let’s look for ourselves at the requirements of an apostle as outlined in the Scriptures. The definition of an apostle comes from Acts chapter 1 in a passage of Scriptures concerning Judas Iscariot’s replacement as an apostle. Peter was the apostle that determined who could become an apostle and gave clear instructions as to who could and could not become an apostle. The pope’s claim to be an apostle goes against Peter’s requirements of an apostle. Acts 1:13-26 NKJ 13. And when they
had entered, they went up into the upper room where they were staying:
Peter, James, John, and Andrew; Philip and Thomas; Bartholomew and
Matthew; James the son of Alphaeus and Simon the Zealot; and Judas the
son of James. In summary, notice that Peter gave us the qualifications of apostleship in verses 21-22. The requirements for apostleship are: 1. The apostle candidate had to have been a disciple of Jesus Christ while He walked on the earth. 2. The apostle candidate had to have stayed with Jesus Christ during His whole ministry on the earth, “from the Baptism of John to that day when He was taken up...” and were witnesses of Jesus’ resurrection. None of the popes walked with Jesus Christ as a disciple at all. None of the popes were disciples of Christ during His whole ministry including being a witness of Jesus’ resurrection. Peter could not, even if he wanted to, pass on his apostleship to a pope because from Peter’s own words it required that person to have already been Jesus Christ’s disciple from His baptism all the way through being a witness of Jesus’ resurrection, which none of the popes ever were a disciple of Jesus Christ whatsoever. The popes are what is described in 2 Corinthians chapter 11. 2 Corinthians 11:13-15 NKJ 13. For such are
false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles
of Christ. The popes are false apostles who transformed themselves into apostles, claiming to be true apostles of Christ while they are not apostles of Jesus Christ at all. The popes have tried to transform themselves into “ministers of righteousness” but their actions prove them to be evil. Read Foxe’s Book of Martyrs to find out just how evil the popes have been down through the centuries by martyring countless millions of true Christians. And that book only touches the tip of the iceberg concerning the evil acts the popes have done throughout history. Reason #3: Early century Christian writers and even members of the Catholic organization either claimed or questioned whether the Catholics were the Antichrist’s organization. This is well documented from the writings of faithful saints that have survived from the first, second and third centuries. This claim partly came about because the Catholics persecuted the true Church of Christianity, of which the Catholic church is not Christian, but is pagan. But, this did not stop with the first, second and third centuries. Through the centuries since then, many people were so strongly convinced of this fact that people wrote that the Catholics were the Antichrist’s organization, even though they were threatened with their very lives, and some were even martyred for their beliefs by the Catholics... the Catholic’s attempt at squelching the truth. Reason #4: Have you ever wondered why the world believes the Catholic’s point of view about St. Peter’s death when they were the ones who killed Peter? It is my belief that the popes and Emperors hid the truth about Peter’s death. Yes, I believe that Peter died on a cross just as Jesus prophesied. But, one thing bothers me about the Catholic account of Peter’s death. One thing the early Christian Church was good at was to find out how pillars of the Church died, such as Andrew, James, Thomas and Paul. But, what happened to Peter’s testimony? We have no account from any 1st Century Christian as to Peter’s last words... no Christian witness of his death. This was very unusual for the 1st Century Christians. They always found out how their pillars of the faith died. So, ask yourself the question: Why is the main pillar of the 1st Century Church snuffed out without the Christian world knowing the details of his death? And yet, those who murdered Peter claim that Peter just simply handed over some keys to them, that he did not physically possess, and that he also conferred upon the first pope the apostleship that he couldn’t pass onto them. Below is all we believe we know about Peter’s death. This passage was conveyed by a Catholic who lived in the 2nd Century. His account was not an eye-witness account. All we know is this about Peter’s death: (quote from The New Foxe’s Book of Martyrs 2001, p. 7) “The only account that we have of the martyrdom of the Apostle Peter is from the early Christian writer Hegesippus. His account includes a miraculous appearance by Christ. When Peter was old (John 21:18), Nero planned to put him to death. When the disciples heard of this, they begged Peter to flee the city [said to be Rome] which he did. But when he got to the city gate, he saw Christ walking toward him. Peter fell to his knees and said, "Lord, where are you going?" Christ answered, "I've come to be crucified again.” By this, Peter understood that it was his time to suffer the death of Jesus which would glorify God (John 21:19). So he went back to the city. After being captured and taken to his place of martyrdom, he requested that he be crucified in an upside down position because he did not consider himself worthy to be crucified in the same Position as his Lord.” After studying some early Catholic writings, it occurred to me that in this story of Peter’s death is a remarkable, sudden appearance of Christ, not that that couldn’t happen. But, that was very typical of many early Catholic writings. Some person has some miraculous event happen that seems all too fabricated and all too unrealistic. I’m not saying Christ didn’t meet Peter on this particular day as this story tells, but if you read other early Catholic writings, it sure smacks of similar very hard to believe tales. If you need another far fetched tale to compare this with, read the tale of the Mystic Marriage of St. Catherine fabricated by the Catholic organization. What blasphemy is in that story... that Christ appeared to St. Catherine and gave her a ring in marriage. First, Christ never married, nor will he marry except for His bride... the Church. He will not marry an earthly woman. He will not appear to anyone and give them a ring conveying to them the idea that He is going to marry them. They don’t even know if St. Catherine saw a vision of Christ or an idol of Mary and the Christ child which then, Christ turned to her and put a gold ring on her finger symbolizing marriage to her. So, what really happened to St. Peter at his death? He probably preached at the pope in office and rebuked him, which is what he would do to them today because they are so unscriptural in what they do. Reason #5: Apostles don’t condone murdering anyone, but especially murdering true saints. Let’s see what the apostle James said concerning murder. James 2:11-17: NKJ 11. For He who
said, "Do not commit adultery,'' also said, "Do not murder.'' Now if you
do not commit adultery, but you do murder, you have become a
transgressor of the law. James specifically tells us that murderers are transgressors against the law of God, and yet, the Catholics have murdered since the first century. They will be judged by that law just as James states. The popes and Catholics amaze me at their talk verses their actions. They claim to be so religious, yet they are of the worst offenders of God’s laws. They murder, molest young boys, rape nuns, steal treasures and wealth that doesn’t belong to them. They twist the Word of God to meet their evil pleasures. It amazes me also that so many millions of people believe the popes because of what they say. It shows me how vast the ignorance of the masses are that still believe in the Catholic organization is Christian. If the masses knew the Word of God like they were told to do, by Christ and the apostles, the Catholic church would have been extinguished years ago. James made it clear that you can’t have only words, but your actions must match your mouth. If we compared only what the popes declare with their mouths and compare it with the Word of God, there would be no contest. They are liars and their actions do not match what they say. The Word of God continually proves they are not Christian. They prove they are antichrists by their actions. Look at what Saint Paul wrote concerning being faithful as a Christian. 1 Corinthians 4:1-2, 9-10a: NIV 1. So then, men
ought to regard us as servants of Christ and as those entrusted with the
secret things of God. 9. For it seems to
me that God has put us apostles on display at the end of the procession,
like men condemned to die in the arena. We have been made a spectacle to
the whole universe, to angels as well as to men. Paul told the Corinthians to be faithful in their Christian walk even to the point of being killed in the Roman arena. The Romans, including the popes, caused Christians to be murdered in the arena for their faith in Christianity. There is no other organization in the world that has murdered more true Christians than the Catholic organization. This fact is well documented in the book, Foxe’s Book of Martyrs, written by John Foxe. This murdering did not just start from the Catholics during the Inquisition, as many uninformed people understand it to be. It began in the first century and it will not end until Christ puts a stop to it at the end of the Tribulation Period when the final Antichrist is killed. Christianity and apostleship is not about murdering like the Catholics have done and will continue to do against Christianity. Reason #6: Apostles aren’t against the Word of God. The pope continues to be a part of an organization that attempts to outlaw the Bible as a hate crime Book. God inspired the Bible. Why would the pope be against it? He is against it because he is pagan, not Christian. Reason #7: There is proof from Peter’s own writings that he would not condone the Catholics as being apostles. Read the Bible in 1st and 2nd Peter, if you really want to understand why St. Peter did not give the popes anything, except perhaps a strict rebuke for being a false prophet. Let’s look at these examples from the Scriptures. 1 Peter 1:7 “that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold...” The Catholic popes, Bishops and Cardinals have proved that through their greed of amassing the most wealth of any group in society, that gold is more precious than their faith, for they have murdered more people to gain gold and wealth and annihilate true Christians than they have ever served Christ. Popes do evil service for sordid gain (1 Peter 5:2). 1 Peter 1:18 18. “knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold...” Catholic popes have taught for many generations that that you can pay your way out of a place called Purgatory ( a place that does not exist except in mythology where Catholic’s religious beliefs originated). They also believe that you can pay to have your punishment for sin reduced. This is called indulgences that the Catholics practice. Peter makes it very clear that you can do neither of these things things. Secondly, in the story of the rich man and Lazarus, in Luke 16:19-31, proves that there is no purgatory. In these verses it tells of a rich man who died and went straight to a burning place of torment, not purgatory. Lazarus, a saint, when he died went to Abraham’s bosom, in heaven, not purgatory. Purgatory does not exist except in the deceitful minds of Catholics who made it up. The popes teach many false doctrines as if they were truth so they can continue deceiving the masses that their pagan religion is Christian, in which is it not. 1 Peter 1:22 “Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit in sincere love of the brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart...” The popes, Bishops, Cardinals and leaders of the Catholic organization have never shown love to the true saints of God, the true Christians of the world, but has always murdered and tried to annihilate them. The Foxe’s Book of Martyrs is the Christian testimony of that fact, a fact Peter also would have recognized being present among the popes of his day as well. 1 Peter 4:15 speaks against the very murder the popes and Catholics condoned and committed through the ages. As I mentioned before, who do you think killed Saint Peter? The Romans and very likely the reigning pope of that day. 1 Peter 5:8-9 “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world.” Peter calls those who caused Christians to suffer in the world the devil. The main place Peter knew saints were being martyred was the Roman world which controlled most provinces around the whole world. Who persecuted the Christians of the first century? The Emperors with the blessings of the popes. So, Peter here associates the Roman power with the works of the devil in that they persecuted the Christians... Satan’s trademark. So, it is no surprise that the Catholics persecuted Christians from the first century and do even now. The popes believed just as the Emperors did (in sacrificing to idols, and worshipping other gods) and tried to cause true Christians to deny their faith by making those same sacrifices themselves. Those who refused would be martyred as history plainly tells us. 2 Peter 1:1 “...To those who have obtained like precious faith with us by the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ:” Catholics are not of the same faith as true Christians. They even claim, with great pride, that Catholics and Christians are different. We are the true Christians, as opposed to Catholics whose roots are as pagan as their 1st century forefathers. If you look at the historical facts surrounding the Catholic origins from Babel all the way through four other kingdoms (Assyria, Egypt, Persia/Media, Greek) you would see that their religious roots are pagan and not Christian at all. I have studied these Empires and have seen for myself the exact roots of the Catholic church which stems from the pagan Babel forward into mythology and Satanism of Babylon, Assyria, Persia/Media and the Greeks. Any Christian living in the first century would have recognized that the Catholics were a pagan religion and not Christian. John the Revelator knew it and that is why he called Rome Babylon. All the early Christians understood Babylon was a symbol used by early Christians for Rome, thus John calls the harlot “Babylon the Great,” when referring to the harlot’s title who sat on seven hills just like Rome (Revelation 17). John was referring to the Catholic pope and organization as being the harlot which was part of the Antichrist’s organization in that reference. 2 Peter 1:15, Peter here speaks of his departure in death which would probably have been soon after his writing of 2nd Peter. Peter never mentions to his followers or to the Church of him passing the apostleship to a pope. He would have done so, like all of the other apostles did, when conveying something that important to someone. Peter would have let his followers know he was passing down the apostleship to the pope so that they would have accepted him in that new role. But, that didn’t happen. The early Church leaders always passed word along to the other believers about sending a fellow brother in the Lord to their Church and sure would have let other believers know that there was to be another apostle appointed as they did clearly in Acts chapter 1. An event so large as appointing a new apostle would have been spread far and wide in the Church and not only that the Church would have been a part of that decision just like in Acts chapter 1. But never a word is mentioned of it until the Catholics made it up in the 3rd century. This appointing of the pope as an apostle is not even mentioned by Catholics in the 1st or 2nd centuries. Catholics made everyone aware of everything they did, especially something that important. But, not even the popes claimed to be appointed by Peter as the next pope until the 3rd century. The popes fabricated the lie because they were the ones who killed Peter for his faith in Christ and Christianity which they opposed. They also fabricated the lie because they knew if they didn’t pose this false lie of an idea, that Peter gave them the apostleship, the early Christians would have recognized the truth, that they were more pagan than Christian. They did this to gain the Christian following they needed and to deceive the masses which they do every day. 2 Peter 2:1, “But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction.” Peter, prophetically, gave Christians a word so as to recognize the false teachers among them. Peter used the word ‘heresies.’ Heresies is a word that was used exclusively by the Catholic popes, Bishops and Cardinals to condemn Christians. Peter either foreknew this or the Holy Spirit directed his pen to write the very word that Christians could recognize as the word used by the false teachers and false prophets (the Catholics) as they persecuted and martyred true Christians. Popes denied the Master, Jesus Christ, by claiming His servants to be heretics full of heresies, while all along it was the Catholics who fulfilled 1 Peter 2:1 by being the ones introducing destructive heresies. The Catholics (the real heretics full of heresies) condemned to destruction righteous saints whom they called heretics. 2 Peter 2:2-3 “And many will follow their destructive ways, because of whom the way of truth will be blasphemed. By covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words;” The New American Standard version says in verse 2, “because of them the way of the truth will be maligned.” The word maligned in the Greek text means blasphemed. I see also the words “misaligned” or “misguided” as being meaningful here. Popes for two thousand years have misinterpreted Scriptures to suit their greedy, murderous, self-centeredness selves. There is no greater organization as the Catholic organization who changed more truth of the Word of God into lies as they do. The word covetousness means greed. There is no greater organization than the Catholic organization so motivated by greed. The Catholic popes, Bishops, Cardinals and leaders have murdered countless people over the greed of their wealth they so treasure. Saint Peter would never have condoned the organization of the Catholics whose heart he would have easily seen through as evil by their constant deeds of greed, murder and hatred of the Christians in his day and time, as he knew very well. Peter was one of the Christians that was martyred by them. My prayer is that Catholics take time to research into their own religion, as I have, to find the truth. The truth is that the Catholic popes have lied to their people for over two thousand years. They have fabricated the most ingenious lies ever told... how to worship pagan gods personified onto Mary and even Christ Himself. They make up Saint stories that are so unbelievable, and they should not be believed. They pass themselves off as apostles, which they are not, and have caused countless millions of people to believe they are a Christian religion, which they are not. If you still believe the Catholic faith is Christian, you need to study Babylonian history beginning with the tower of Babel. The Catholic hierarchy is patterned after the Babylonian Priestess worship... everything from high priests (pope), nuns and monks... it all comes from the Babylonian Priestess worship. This includes the symbols the popes use in their ceremonies... they all come from Babylon or other pagan religions throughout the world... everything from his mitre to the stole the pope wears is all pagan, not Christian. If you desire more proof, read the book, The Two Babylons, by Alexander Hislop. I pray that you see the truth.
